The purpose of this human rights blog is to increase awareness of and engagement for human rights in Norway.
The Norwegian public debate is often characterized by ignorance of what human rights are. Although there is a lot of information and research on human rights, most of this information is not available for the general public. This is what the initiators of this blog wish to do something about.
Blog posts are therefore based on professional knowledge conveyed in an engaging and accessible manner. The posts may also be based on the personal experience of the author.
The blog is managed by six editors, and is open for everyone to submit posts.
MRbloggen was launched in June 2013, and is independent of any institution.
